Captain Bobs Kennet

Well after much thought many mutterings and head scratching Captain Bobs made a start, a motor has been sourced but due to its size where to mount it has yet to be decided. Problems encountered so far are minor discrepancies on drawings (i.e. hole size 3/16" but pin size quoted 1/4"), and just because your drills may be stamped with a particular size don't believe it if you are about to drill a hole prior to reaming. More mutterings to follow.

Here's the Kennet with more twiddly bits fitted and ready for a test run

After test driving the Kennet Captain Bob felt improvments could be made and voila, instead of shoving the top table in and out across the grinding disk you can now use the screw feed shown below
